Are the Africans in the diaspora still Africans? Are they still engaged in the day to day affairs of our beloved mother continent? As the Baganda say, "akabuuza jjako", literally translating, "take off the question mark".
Physically, millions of us have been uprooted from our mother land; first as slaves in the early 19th Century, and thereafter, till today, as choosing, albeit reluctant, free agents who, are either running away from, or to, or both, something, good or bad, depending on the particular circumstances.
